From the volcanic soils of Mount Gambier / Berrin over a limestone bed below, this fruit comes from Yahl Estate and grown by relatively new comer Paul Chisea.

Southeast of the volcanic mountain, history tells of an ash cloud that formed from the eruption, sending volcanic ash in that direction depositing volcanic ash where this site has been planted.

These unqiue soils result in a fruit driven pinot noir beaming with natural acidity. Crunchy texture with cranberry and strawberry notes. Light in style but large in character a vineyard we are extremely happy to watch and work with as it evolves through its new custodian.
