Single vineyard Chardonnay from the volcanic soils "ash cloud" vineyard. Barrel fermented with a small amount of lees stirring in older seasoned oak. 2025 was the warmest vintage in my 12 years making wine in Mt Gambier. It has a wet stone, flinty almost struck match character, medium to light bodied. Natural acidity and minerality with backbone. A long finish with a real sense of place.
